Frankenstein essay help?

A lot of people don't really get Mary Shelley's book. The basic idea is that only God can create life. If man tries to do it, it will decay and become horrible. When the monster is first created, he is beautiful, or at least normal looking. But because his life has been created unnaturally, he starts to physically and then mentally decay. He doesn't have a soul. You really need to read the book (it isn't very long) or at least cliffs or sparknotes before you start writing about Boris Karloff. It is meant to be a horror story, but it's also philosophical.
