Would the Patriots have been better off playing the Cowboys or Packers?

Were the Giants the worst possible opponent the Patriots could have got in the SB because of their p rush and the fact that the Giants played them tough just a month ago? I think the Patriots would have matched up much better with any other team from the NFC. What do you think?
