Double Counting Pharmacy Pills?

I have a friend who is a pharmacist and he says they always double count the pills...with some people they may be tempted to still some pills when they double count...I bet you he may have been taking some and when he said he double counted the pills...someone else was proving his numbers to be wrong and so they fired his druggie . Sometimes, if a person is suspected of doing something illegal...they are watched closer and if something is proven...there are grounds for dismissal.
