You have the basics down pretty good with what you are doing. New paint and fixtures. I would leave the floor alone and put that money into new counter tops. Measure the square ft of your counters and spend an evening going to the improvement stores and get some prices on new counter tops. Granite, marble, laminate, price them all and see how they work out budget wise. Counter tops can be tricky.
