Why do Democrats want to pull out of Iraq without any decent strategy?

I don't really support the war. But I think we now need to stay there. The day we pull out, more hell will break loose. The terrorists will rebuild and possibly become more powerful and they will overthrow the government. Look at Afghanistan after the Soviet Invasion. The anti-Soviet fighters rebuilt into a more powerful group and started to operate worldwide. Pulling out will be a mistake. Staying there for several more years and pulling out slowly is the only solution.
