My pet goat Broccoli was duped out of his wages, what should I do?

My pet goat Broccoli tidied lawns of the neighbouring houses, he nibbled them neat and pretty, but when he came to collect his wages, he had doors rudely closed at his face, and once some human even tried to kick him most viciously! What should I do?
